As a mom of a child with atopic skin, I have to be extremely careful when choosing sunscreen. After some research, I came across the Ogaborn Seed-Poom Daily Safe Sun Milk.
Since children's skin is much more delicate than adults', I heard that it's best to use a gentler product with an SPF of 35 or lower. However, I decided to give this one a try, especially since UV rays can be quite strong even when it's not summer.
Application: I expected the texture to be smooth and creamy, but it turned out to be quite thick. I had to rub it between my hands several times to spread it evenly.
White cast: If you have a calm baby, this might not be an issue, but most little ones don't sit still. So, it's challenging to apply it thoroughly without some white residue. However, the white cast naturally fades after some time.
Cleansing: It doesn't come off easily with just water, so I recommend using a gentle cleansing product.
Protection: I haven't intentionally exposed my baby to sunlight, but I did notice that their skin, which usually turns red after minimal sun exposure, looked much better after using this sunscreen.
Drawbacks: The small size makes it easy to carry around, but the amount of product is limited, and it's quite pricey for what you get. Also, my baby seemed uncomfortable when I applied it near the eyes, so I tried to apply it very lightly around that area. While the protection seems effective, I'm not sure if I'll be able to use it regularly due to my child's discomfort.
