Bioheal BOH PANTHECELL repair cica cream mist
Who I am:
29, combo-sensitive skin, work in an office with brutal AC, constantly on the hunt for barrier-friendly, no-fuss hydration that I can reapply without thinking.
Why I bought it:
The “cica cream mist” name reeled me in — I imagined a cushiony, creamy spritz that would wrap my skin in a protective hug. Plus, I liked the idea of something more substantial than just thermal water but not as heavy as a full moisturizer mid-day.
What went down:
• Texture: Not quite creamy, not quite watery — but somewhere awkwardly in between. When sprayed, it didn’t settle evenly and left a slightly filmy, almost sticky layer.
• Spray mechanism: Not it. It spits. Like actually spits. Instead of a fine mist, I got uneven blotches — especially annoying over makeup.
• Sensation: Cooling for a second, then a bit… congesting? I didn’t feel refreshed. More like I needed to pat it in, but also didn’t want to.
• Results: No breakouts, but also no real soothing or barrier support. Felt more cosmetic than functional.
Bottom line:
If you’re imagining a K-beauty version of La Roche-Posay Cicaplast mist, this ain’t it. I kept trying to like it — I wanted it to be a handbag staple — but it just never earned its spot. At best, it’s fine for a bare face before bed. But I wouldn’t repurchase.
