This lotion deserves more hype. Especially if your skin is mad at you. ๐Ÿ’ฅ

Letโ€™s be real โ€” barrier-repair products can sometimes be too thick, too waxy, or justโ€ฆ boring. This one? Itโ€™s refreshing. Light. Thoughtful. And exactly what my skin needed after a retinol disaster.

Ingredient-wise, itโ€™s solid:

โ€ข Panthenol + Madecassoside: Barrier-repairing power duo

โ€ข No fragrance, essential oils, or alcohol

โ€ข Vegan, cruelty-free, and EWG-safe

I started using this during a phase where my skin just couldnโ€™t handle anything active. Even vitamin C stung. This was the only moisturizer that calmed my redness down without making me feel greasy or overly dewy.

How it feels:

It glides on like a light emulsion, almost like a serum-lotion hybrid. Takes a minute or two to fully absorb, so I usually pat it in gently and wait before applying SPF. Once it sets? My skin feels pillowy and cool, like it actually drank the moisture.

๐Ÿ’ก Best part: It works really well with my other products. No weird interactions. No pilling under sunscreen. Just calm, balanced skin.

Would I repurchase?

Yes, 100%. Especially for transitional seasons or recovery weeks. Itโ€™s like a soft reset for your face.

Would recommend for those trying to rebuild their skin barrier without anything heavy or suffocating. It layers well with serums and sunscreen too โ€” Iโ€™ve had zero pilling.

My life saver ngl. After over-exfoliating last month, my skin was so angry even water stung. This lotion was the only thing that didn't burn while actually helping. And like after weeks, my skin got its peace back ๐Ÿ˜Œ

Wonder how this compares to the Soon Jung 2x Barrier Cream?! I need something for retinol irritation but my skin clogs easily.
+ does it work under makeup or is it too shiny?
