My honest thoughts after using the SKIN1004 Hyalucica Water-Fit Sun Serum for 3 weeks
So I finally tried the SKIN1004 Hyalucica Water-Fit Sun Serum, and I can see why people have been talking about it lately. I’ve always been picky with sunscreen — either they’re too greasy, make me break out, or leave a weird white cast. This one honestly surprised me in a good way.
☀️ Texture & Finish
It’s more of a lightweight gel-serum than a traditional cream, and it absorbs really quickly. Right after application, it feels a little dewy but not sticky. Once it sets (takes about a minute), it’s almost undetectable on the skin. No white cast on my light-medium skin tone and zero piling under makeup, which is a huge plus for me.
🌿 Ingredients I Like
This sunscreen contains Centella Asiatica extract and hyaluronic acid, so I feel like I’m getting both sun protection and a bit of skin-soothing hydration. I’ve had no irritation, which is rare for me since my skin gets reactive with a lot of SPF products. I wouldn’t say it’s super moisturizing on its own, but if you have oily or combo skin, it might be enough as a standalone product in warmer weather.
☁️ Everyday Wear
I’ve been using it every morning for the past three weeks, and it works well under both light makeup and full foundation days. I live in a pretty sunny area (California), so SPF50+ and PA++++ is something I absolutely need, and this one holds up well for daily errands and working from home near the window. I do reapply once if I’m outside for more than a couple hours, and it doesn’t get cakey or weird on top of itself.
🙌 Who I’d Recommend It To
If you hate the feeling of sunscreen but know you need to wear it (aka most of us), this is a great pick. It’s beginner-friendly, affordable, and doesn't come with that strong SPF smell or thick texture. That said, if you’re super dry, you might still want a hydrating layer underneath.
🔍 Final Thoughts
It’s not life-changing or anything, but it’s solid. I don’t dread applying it every morning, which says a lot.
No white cast, no irritation, and no annoying finish. It’s exactly what I needed in a daily-use sunscreen.

Would I repurchase? Honestly, yeah. It's one of the easiest SPFs I've used in a while.
