Hello! I first got curious about beplain after hearing that the brand was developed using real customer feedback in Korea. That really stood out to me, and after looking into the ingredients, I felt confident trying them out as they’re minimal and clean, which is ideal for acne-prone skin like mine. 

 Spoiler alert : they didn’t disappoint!

A little skin context : I live in a humid country, and my skin is a mix of oily and dehydrated, with a tendency to break out. My main concerns are calming, hydration, and closed comedones (CCs).

🌿 Greenful pH-Balanced Cleansing Foam - 4.5/5

 Would Repurchase 

 This is probably one of the best cleansers I’ve tried. It has a thick, light green paste texture with tiny bits of mung bean, and a faint mung bean scent that actually reminds me of Asian dessert shops, nostalgic and not overpowering. It foams up nicely and leaves my skin feeling clean but not stripped, which is rare for a foaming cleanser.

 The ingredients are packed with soothing and antioxidant-rich extracts, but since it’s a wash-off product, I didn’t notice long-term effects from them. Still, the gentle formula works great for my acne-prone skin. The only downside is the price , $12 for 80ml is a bit steep compared to others I’ve used.

🌼 Chamomile pH-Balanced Toner - 3.5/5

 Would Not Repurchase 

 This toner is soothing and hydrating, with a subtle chamomile scent. The texture is watery with a bit of slip, but for my combo skin in a humid climate, it felt slightly too moisturizing, borderline heavy. I imagine this would work better for dry skin types, or oily or combo skin in cooler weather.

 If you’re looking for a runny toner that focuses mainly on hydration, this is a solid option! Just not the best match for me in this climate.

🍃 Cicaterol Ampoule - 4.5/5

 Would Repurchase 

 I know cica products are everywhere, but this one really worked for me. It’s a thick gel-like ampoule that melts into a watery texture when applied and absorbs super quickly. It wasn’t as hydrating as I expected, but where it shines is calming redness and irritation as my skin visibly calms down within hours.

 This is a great, no-fuss ampoule with a simple, skin-friendly ingredient list. I did go through it quickly, but I’d still repurchase for its soothing benefits.

🌼 Chamomile pH-Balanced Lotion - 3/5

 Would Not Repurchase

This lotion leans more toward a light cream than a watery emulsion as it spreads well and is surprisingly moisturizing. That said, it’s a bit too heavy for my skin type in this weather, and doesn’t sink in as fast as I’d like.

It might be great for dry skin or during winter, but for oily-combo skin in humidity, it just feels a little too rich.

💧 Hyaluronic Aqua Moisturizer - 4/5

 Would Repurchase

 This one surprised me! It comes out as a balm-like gel that feels like a lighter, non-greasy version of Vaseline. At first, I was nervous it would be too heavy, but it ended up being amazing, especially at night.

 It locks everything in, doesn’t clog my pores, and made a noticeable difference in my skin texture. If your skin is dehydrated but gets congested easily, this is definitely worth trying.

💭 Final Thoughts

Overall, I’m super impressed with beplain. None of the products broke me out, which is rare for my skin! I’d highly recommend :

The Greenful Cleanser and Cicaterol Ampoule - great for all skin types.

The Chamomile Line - better suited for dry skin or colder seasons.

The Aqua Moisturizer - perfect for dehydrated skin needing a lightweight seal.
