I FLEW TO KOREA AND BOUGHT THIS LIP BALM FIRST. NO REGRETS. ✈️💄

GUYS. I’M NOT EVEN BEING DRAMATIC. This lip balm literally had me on a plane across the world. Okay, not just for the balm, but like… this was absolutely top 3 on my Korea shopping list.

And guess what? It was SO worth it. Like, I still cannot believe this little tube is real.

So the product is the LANEIGE Lip Glowy Balm in Peach Glaze, and YES. It’s different from what we get in the U.S.

I saw my friend apply it in LA, and the moment I saw that juicy peachy glow on her lips I was like: “WHAT IS THAT and how do I get it on MY FACE RIGHT NOW??” She told me it was a Korea-only shade and I swear my soul left my body.

Fast forward to me, standing in Olive Young in Seoul with literal HEART EYES — and this is where it gets crazy — THE APPLICATOR IS DIFFERENT. Not a squeeze-tube.

Not a doe-foot. It’s this soft, SILICONE RING-TIP thing (like a little pink donut??) and at first I was like UM… OKAY… but now?? OBSESSED. It smooths the balm onto your lips SO evenly, SO satisfyingly… it’s basically lip care ASMR.

The formula is everything I hoped for, glossy but light, hydrating without being greasy, and it gives your lips that fresh outta a K-drama glow.

And the SCENT?? HELLO?? It’s like a real peach had a baby with candy and kissed your lips. I keep reapplying it just for the smell, not even gonna lie.

Also: let’s talk LAYERS. I’ve been using it over matte tints and lip liners and it gives them the softest, juiciest finish. I even put it over my MLBB lipstick and it made me look so put together with ZERO effort. Like, if I’m late to brunch but need to look alive in 10 seconds? This balm. End of story.

The packaging is adorable, the vibe is VERY “clean girl in her soft girl era,” and the fact that it’s not available everywhere makes me feel like I’m in on a secret. WHICH I GUESS I’M NOW SHARING WITH YOU. YOU’RE WELCOME.

Should you buy it? YES. Should you fly to Korea just to get it? …That’s between you and your skincare obsession, bestie.

BUT LIKE. IF YOU DO. GET TWO.

(And if you’re reading this from Korea rn — RUN TO OLIVE YOUNG. GO.)

PEACH GLAZE FOREVER. ✨🍑

OP… bestie… whispers can I PayPal you to ship me one??? I’ve been stalking Olive Young’s global site for months and this shade is never in stock. I don’t have plane ticket money but I do have desperation. Also, does it actually last more than an hour or is this another ‘reapply every 10 mins’ situation? Asking for my chronically dry lips.

Is it really that different from the US version? Also, silicone applicators can be hit or miss, what if you lose the cap? Does it dry out faster?
