My Experience with Some By Mi AHA BHA PHA 30 Days Miracle Toner (Spoiler: It’s Not for Everyone)

I bought this purely out of curiosity. It’s everywhere—people swear it transformed their skin, cleared breakouts, and gave them a glow in just 30 days. My skin is combination, acne-prone, and sensitive, so I was both excited and nervous.

Week 1: The Purge??

First few days? Fine. No instant miracles, but my skin felt smoother. Then, boom—tiny whiteheads everywhere. I almost panicked, but since it’s an exfoliating toner (AHA/BHA/PHA + tea tree), I figured it could be purging.

Week 2-3: The Balancing Act

I started using it only at night, every other day. This helped A LOT. My skin adjusted, the breakouts faded, and I noticed my pores looking clearer. It still tingled slightly, but nothing unbearable.

Week 4: Worth It?

• Texture? Smoother. My skin definitely looked more refined.

• Breakouts? Fewer, but not gone.

• Hydration? Meh. It’s not drying, but it’s also not moisturizing. I always had to follow up with a good hydrating toner (like Anua Heartleaf 77%).

Final Thoughts:

✔ Best for oily, acne-prone skin—If you tolerate exfoliants well, you might love this.

✔ Gentler than other acid toners—Didn’t burn like some glycolic toners I’ve tried.

✖ Not for sensitive skin—If you’re easily irritated, patch test first.

✖ Requires patience—Don’t expect overnight magic.

Maybe I would get it again after finishing this, but not as a daily toner. I think it’s great as a once-in-a-while exfoliating treatment rather than something I’d use daily.
