Disgust’s Skincare Diary — Finally?

This cream is like a quiet roommate — doesn’t bother anyone, but also doesn’t exactly stand out. I picked it up when my skin barrier was feeling cranky, hoping it’d soothe everything back into place. It… sort of did?

It’s a balmy, soft cream that feels cushiony going on. No stinging, no greasiness, absorbs fast. Under makeup? Beautiful.

No pilling, no heaviness. But did it really “relieve” anything? Ehh. Redness stuck around. Flakiness eased up a little, but not dramatically. It felt like it was preventing things from getting worse, not actually making things better.

Soothing, yes — but I wouldn’t reach for it in a true SOS situation. More like a gentle moisturizer for mildly irritated skin.

For me, it’s the kind of cream you use when your skin just wants to be left alone. Lowkey, polite, dependable. But not life-changing.

Honestly this is exactly how I felt. It’s fine, but not like… wow.

I kind of appreciate a cream that just does its job quietly. Not everything has to be dramatic lol.

My redness didn’t improve either tbh. Thought I was the only one.

It’s giving “preventative maintenance,” not “emergency rescue.” 😅

I still use it on chill days but yeah, wouldn’t recommend it to someone mid-flare.

Wonder How this is compared to the Soon Jung 2x Barrier Cream? I need something for post-tret flakes but don’t want anything too heavy.

Also, does it leave a shiny finish?

This saved me after a bad chemical peel when even cica creams stung. Maybe it’s not a wow for mild irritation, but for truly wrecked skin? GOAT

Am i the only with the assumption that the simpler product looks, the better it works?
