The Holy Grail for Makeup Lovers

As someone who’s struggled to find a sunscreen that plays nice with full makeup, Cell Fusion C Aquatica Cooling Sunscreen is a total game changer. I’m always nervous about the dreaded meltdown or cakey finish, but this sunscreen glides on like a lightweight moisturizer with a fresh, cooling sensation.

Why it works for me? It’s…

Hydrating but matte finish: Keeps my oily-combo skin balanced all day without excess shine.

No white cast: Super sheer, blends invisibly on all skin tones.

Makeup-friendly: I apply it as the last step before primer and foundation, and everything stays put—no slipping or patchiness, even after hours.

Cooling effect: The light mentholated feel is perfect for hot days, instantly refreshing my skin.

My typical morning routine starts with a gentle yet effective cleanser to refresh my skin without stripping moisture. After patting my face dry, I apply a lightweight hydrating toner followed by a soothing serum that preps my skin for moisture and helps control oil throughout the day.

Next comes the Cell Fusion C Aquatica Cooling Sunscreen — this is the star product in my morning routine. It applies like a silky, ultra-light gel that immediately gives a refreshing cool sensation.

Unlike many sunscreens, it doesn’t leave any white cast or sticky residue. Instead, it absorbs quickly and leaves my skin feeling hydrated yet matte — the perfect base for makeup.

Once the sunscreen settles, I follow with a silicone-based primer to smooth the skin surface and extend makeup wear.

For foundation, I use a semi-matte cushion compact that blends effortlessly over the sunscreen layer. Thanks to the sunscreen’s non-greasy and lightweight finish, my foundation adheres beautifully without any pilling or patchiness.

For concealer and finishing touches, I opt for products that offer natural coverage without heavy texture, which the sunscreen helps maintain throughout the day. I finish with a light dusting of translucent powder focused on the T-zone to control shine.

Throughout the day, my makeup stays intact — no melting, no sliding, and no cakey build-up. The Cooling Sunscreen’s light menthol feel keeps my skin comfortable and refreshed, even on hot or humid days.

It’s truly a sunscreen designed with makeup lovers in mind, providing excellent UV protection while enhancing makeup longevity and skin comfort.

I wear this sunscreen every morning, and it’s become the foundation of my skincare-meets-makeup routine. It doesn’t just protect — it enhances my makeup’s staying power while keeping skin comfortable. If you want a sunscreen that’s truly “화잘먹” (flawless makeup adhesion), this is it.

Ok but why is it better than some actual primers…? I’m shocked.

Did I just see menthol? Cries in rosacea:( Why do all the good makeup sunscreens have to include irritants?

Phew finally someone gets it! Most matte sunscreens still leave me greasy by noon, but this one actually keeps oil at bay. The menthol tingle scared me at first but it's so refreshing in summer!

Checked the filters. Uvinul A Plus and Tinosorb S combo means solid UVA/ UVB protection. This actually works as a protection! It's so rare tho
