So, I finally caved and bought the Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Concentrate Cream after seeing it ALL OVER my feed. People were acting like this was the holy grail of moisturizers, and as someone with dry, sensitive skin, I had to give it a shot.

💧 First Impressions: Thick but lightweight?

The texture is interesting—it's not a heavy balm, but it's definitely not a light lotion either. It almost has a whipped, gel-cream feel when you first apply it, but then it settles into a slightly occlusive layer.

Fragrance-free, which I appreciate! My skin and strong scents are NOT friends.

💦 Hydration: 100hr lasting moisture? Meh.

This is where I started feeling a little let down. My skin feels hydrated when I first apply it, but does it feel deeply nourished hours later? Not really. I wake up feeling like I need another layer.

If you have SUPER dry skin, this alone might not be enough. I found myself layering a facial oil on top at night.

🧴 Absorption & Feel: Sits on top a little too much.

It does absorb, but there’s a slight film that lingers. I don’t mind that at night, but during the day under sunscreen? A bit too much.

On the body, it’s actually pretty nice! Works well for hands and arms, but I bought this for my face, so…

If you have normal-to-dry skin and need something gentle, this is a solid option.

If your skin barrier is wrecked and you need something calming, it might help… but I wouldn’t expect miracles overnight.

If you live in a super dry climate? Maybe look for something richer.

I don’t hate it—it didn’t break me out, it’s soothing, and it’s reasonably priced. But for my skin type (extra dry & needy), it just didn’t WOW me. If your skin leans more combo or slightly dry, I can see this working better.
