Disgust’s Skincare Diary “Yeah, it’s good. But let’s not pretend it’s magic.”

Let’s get this straight:

Yes, it’s calming.

Yes, it helps with redness.

Yes, I keep using it.

BUT.

Do I want to pay nearly 40 bucks for something that feels like aloe vera gel in a prettier jar? 😑 Not really.

Don’t get me wrong—on inflamed skin days, this baby works. But for acne scars or texture? It’s not gonna be your miracle.

The name says “clear blemish” and that’s a strong promise. Too strong.

Still, I get it. It does give that slightly cooling, comforting feeling. Especially post-acid or if I overdid it with the retinol.

Would I repurchase? Maybe… when my skin’s throwing a tantrum and I’m too tired to argue.

Bought it during a rosacea flare and ngl it helped but yeah, agree, don’t expect it to fade PIH or fix texture. It’s more like not making things worse in a jar.

Honestly agree with everything here. It’s a nice fallback when my barrier’s fried, but yeah… $40 is a stretch for something that doesn’t do more than soothe.

Not the $40 for a jar that helps with soothing & texture. I for sure would wait until the huge Olive Young sale.

I'm Korean and I just ask my friends who are in military rn to get some for me lol. It's WAY cheaper to buy it inside of the military (they have a little market thing and they got some dr.g and they cost not even half)

I dont like whenever ppl say they det something bc it is giving vibes but for better skin, is it really necessary 🤔 we need results not just vibes

But what if this gives you both vibes AND the result?? My skin has never felt soother before and I'm loving it!!! I don't have crazy marks or acnes but I get stressed with the texture and tiny bumps and this LEGIT helped with all of my skin concerns at least
