I’ve seen Anua’s Heartleaf line everywhere lately, so I decided to try their Heartleaf Pore Control Cleansing Oil since my skin has been feeling congested. I was hoping for a lightweight oil that removes sunscreen and makeup without clogging my pores.
🧴 Texture & Feel
• Very light and fluid—not as thick as DHC or other heavier cleansing oils.
• Spreads easily and doesn’t feel greasy.
• Doesn’t sting my eyes! (Huge plus for me.)
🧼 Cleansing Power
• Removes light to medium makeup effortlessly.
• Struggles with waterproof mascara and eyeliner—I had to go in with a separate remover.
• Emulsifies well and rinses clean without leaving a film.
🌱 Skin Effects
• Gentle—my skin didn’t feel stripped or tight afterward.
• Pores looked clearer after a week of use, but nothing drastic.
• Didn’t cause breakouts, but also didn’t drastically reduce them.
📌 Final Thoughts
✔️ Pros: Lightweight, rinses clean, gentle on sensitive skin
❌ Cons: Doesn’t remove waterproof makeup well, subtle but not dramatic pore effects
It’s a great everyday cleansing oil, but if you wear heavy/waterproof makeup, you might need something stronger.
