What's up girlie! I recently tried the new ILLIYOON Mild Easy Wash Sun Cream SPF50+ PA++++ and wanted to share some quick thoughts after testing it out.
➕️ Sun Protection
No complaints here! This formula contains five UV filters, so I feel confident that it’s delivering the full SPF protection it promises.
➖️ Texture & Application
The texture leans medium-weight, definitely more of a cream than a fluid and it has a noticeably greasy feel on application. Unfortunately, it takes quite a while to fully dry down, which isn’t ideal if you’re in a rush or layering other products.
➕️ Finish
Interestingly, despite the greasier feel, the finish is more natural to subtly dewy, not overly shiny. It actually looks better than it feels, if that makes sense!
➖️ Pilling
This one’s a bit temperamental. It pilled badly on me the first time when I accidentally rubbed my face, but when I reapplied the next day and was more careful not to touch my skin, it was fine. If you're someone who tends to touch your face a lot, this might be something to keep in mind.
➕️ Fragrance
It’s not fragrance-free, though the scent is pretty subtle unless you’re actively trying to smell it and it reminds me a bit of foundation. I have sensitive skin that usually reacts to fragrance, but surprisingly, this didn’t irritate me.
➖️ Eye Sensitivity
This did sting my eyes a bit, so if you’re prone to sensitivity around the eye area, you’ll want to apply it with caution.
➕️ Bonus Points
The 150ml size is a huge plus. I really appreciate when sunscreens come in larger bottles since it makes daily use so much easier and more cost-effective.
✨️Overall Rating - 3/5
I was hoping for a little more from this sunscreen. The sun protection is solid, and the generous size is great, but the texture, dry-down time, and potential for pilling hold it back for me. Not a bad product overall, just not a standout.
