Avene Eau Thermale spring water mist review

I have dry skin, and after seeing so many people rave about this mist, especially for hydration and calming sensitive skin, I decided to pick up the large size.

The spray mechanism is genuinely excellent. It delivers a super fine, even mist that feels soft and cooling on the skin. It’s refreshing without being overly wet, making it ideal for use after cleansing or on hot days.

That being said, it honestly just feels like thermal water.

While it gives a quick burst of hydration and cools the skin momentarily, it evaporates quickly and doesn’t leave my skin feeling any more hydrated than before. I didn’t notice much soothing or lasting moisture either.

It’s completely fragrance free, which is great for anyone sensitive to scents. The texture is, of course, water light with no stickiness or residue.

But since it lacks humectants or conditioning ingredients, it doesn’t help lock in moisture or support longer term hydration.

If you’re looking for a refreshing mist to use throughout the day or as a gentle first step in your routine, this might be a nice addition. But if your skin needs deeper hydration or calming care, especially for dryness or irritation, this may not be the most effective choice. I’ll finish the bottle, but I wouldn’t repurchase.

No bc I felt this. It's giving fancy thermal water with vives but zero hydration

For real, if it doesn’t have humectants it's basically skincare air

The nozzle is the only reason I’d consider buying this tbh. I wish more mists had that kind of ultra-fine spray—it’s oddly satisfying.

This is actually so helpful—I've been debating between this and the Avène one, and it sounds like this isn’t much different from thermal water. Appreciate the honesty!

Kind of wild how something can feel so nice and still do so little, lol. Not mad I tried it, but definitely not a repurchase either.

It’d be great if you included more about layering it with other products. I wonder if it would work better sealed in with a cream or serum right after.
