It’s been about a month and a half of using this cream, and I’ve squeezed the tube within an inch of its life. That should tell you something already.
I have dehydrated-oily (수부지) skin that needs something that hydrates without disappearing or feeling too greasy. In the current early summer weather, I’ve been keeping it minimal in the morning: toner + this cream. That’s it. And it works beautifully. No tightness, no midday oil slick. Just calm, balanced skin.
The texture is a unique in-between. It feels light at first, like a water cream, but spreads into something slightly more nourishing. I wouldn’t call it heavy, but it’s not one of those creams that vanish into the skin immediately.
There’s a slight emollient veil, which dry skin will appreciate, but if you’re fully oily, you might find it just a touch too rich.
Why is it loved under makeup? I finally get it. This cream doesn’t interfere with base makeup — no pilling, no weird separation, and it creates this soft surface that cushions even semi-matte foundations. It actually holds hydration through your whole routine without disrupting layers.
Let’s talk ingredients for a second:
• Squalane is front and center — moisturizing, repairing, non-comedogenic.
• Panthenol (B5) helps soothe and reinforce the barrier.
• Tocopherol (Vitamin E) adds antioxidant support.
• There’s also ceramide NP, great for long-term skin health.
The formula is fragrance-free, and even on my reactive days, it didn’t sting or trigger redness.
My only issue? Again — the size. I used it AM/PM, and it’s almost gone. Still, for those looking for a comfortable, no-fuss cream for a sensitive, combo-to-dry skin type — this is a lovely find.
I might repurchase or try it again in the fall when my skin needs a little extra. But as far as this season goes? It nailed it.
