Purpose

This moisturizer seems to be designed with combination to oily skin types in mind, or for those seeking a lighter, calming option. With ingredients like Beta Glucan and Centella Asiatica Extract, it’s formulated to support skin barrier repair and soothe irritation, potentially helpful for anyone dealing with acne or sensitivity.

Scent & Texture

No noticeable scent, thankfully! Fragrance-free and free from any odd natural smells, which is always win. Also despite cream being in the name, this is absolutely a gel in texture, maybe a gel-cream at most. It’s extremely lightweight and absorbs almost instantly into the skin. Honestly, it might even be too lightweight.

My Thoughts

I picked this up after trying iUNIK’s Beta Glucan serum, which I also didn’t love, in hopes that the cream would deliver better results. Unfortunately, I found it just as underwhelming. While the ingredients sound great in theory, the actual performance didn’t impress me. It provided very minimal hydration, to the point where it felt like I hadn’t applied anything at all. For someone with oily skin who just wants a whisper of moisture, maybe under makeup, this could be okay. But for everyday barrier support or post-active recovery, it fell flat. 

The most frustrating part? It seemed to vanish far too quickly. I wasn’t overusing it, but the product still disappeared in record time for such a small tube. At this price point, that’s a definite drawback.

I’ve since gone back to the Illiyoon Ceramide ATO Soothing Gel. It’s much better value for money, and I find it gives more noticeable hydration and calming benefits. Right now, it’s my preferred lightweight moisturizer.
