Okay, so I really wanted to love this. I’d seen it hyped up in Korean skincare forums and thought, “Finally! A sleek, no-fuss tool to tackle those pesky sebaceous filaments on my nose.” So I went for it… but now that I’ve used it a few times, I’m honestly on the fence.
First off — it looks amazing. Clean, minimal, that chic white packaging that just feels like it should work. But performance-wise? It’s… okay. Not bad, not great — just kind of in the middle.
I didn’t buy the softening agent it’s supposed to be paired with (which might’ve been a mistake), but even without it, I expected it to make some difference. It does get some gunk out, sure — but so would literally anything with a similar edge from Amazon for half the price.
And if you’re not extremely gentle, it’s way too easy to irritate the skin. After just one use, I had some redness and was like… am I helping or hurting my barrier right now?
Also, just to set expectations — this isn’t some magical “blackhead eraser” that gives you glass skin overnight. It’s not a one-and-done solution. Your pores will refill (ugh, biology), and this is really only effective if you’re doing ongoing, gentle maintenance.
Honestly, for the price, I was expecting something more elevated or even intuitive in design. But the reality is, you still need to do the work: steam the face, soften the skin, be careful with pressure… otherwise it just feels like a fancy-looking metal stick that might be doing more harm than good.
Will I keep using it? Maybe — but cautiously, and probably only after pairing it with a softening pack.
Would I repurchase? Probably not.
Would I tell a friend to try it? Only if they’re already deep into pore care and know how to handle extraction tools very gently.
Bottom line:
Not the worst thing I’ve used, but definitely not the pore-cleaning savior I was hoping for.
Sometimes, the hype doesn’t fully translate — and that’s okay.
