I’ve been seeing Medicube’s PDRN Pink Peptide Ampoule climb the charts at Olive Young Global lately. Apparently it even hit No.1 🥇 which is wild considering it's not one of the mainstream viral TikTok ones (and that’s probably a good thing, honestly).
So I grabbed it during their spring sale and had it shipped to Ohio. Here’s how it’s been after about a month of use, from a skincare nerd who’s been around the block (and has the bathroom shelf to prove it).
⠀
✨ The Claims
This ampoule promises to brighten, firm, hydrate, and calm — basically an all-in-one serum with anti-aging vibes. The pink color comes from their blend of PDRN and peptides. I was especially intrigued by the science-y angle with PDRN 🧬 since it's often used post-laser in Korea.
⠀
🧪 Key Ingredients Breakdown
PDRN (Polydeoxyribonucleotide): This is salmon DNA extract used in regenerative medicine in Korea. In topical skincare, it’s supposed to promote healing and reduce inflammation. Sounds amazing, but unless it’s at a clinically effective concentration (which isn’t disclosed), the effects are probably subtle.
Peptides (Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 etc): These help with firmness and skin elasticity. I’m always down for peptides, and this has a solid blend. I can't confirm how deeply they’re absorbed, but no irritation at all, so that’s a win 🧴
Niacinamide, Adenosine, Panthenol: These are the “classic” supporting actives — brightening, anti-wrinkle, and soothing. Super safe and effective combo. Think of them like the skincare Avengers 🛡️
⠀
💧 Texture & Application
It’s a light pink gel-serum that looks cute on your vanity 💗 The texture is medium viscosity — not watery, not super thick. It glides well and absorbs decently, but leaves a slight tacky finish (especially if you use too much).
Tip: I press it in with my palms and wait a minute before layering moisturizer. Works way better that way.
⠀
🌿 For My Sensitive Skin Friends
I have combo-dry skin that reacts to random stuff (looking at you, citrus oils and witch hazel 👀). But this? No burning, no redness, no flare-ups. Honestly, this was a relief. It felt calming and even slightly cooling. I wouldn’t call it deeply moisturizing on its own, but it plays nice with other layers.
⠀
⚖️ So... Did It Work?
Results weren’t instant, but after about 3 weeks, I noticed my skin felt slightly plumper and more even-toned. That said, no drastic change in fine lines or firmness. I still think this is more of a barrier-friendly, gentle brightening ampoule than a hardcore anti-aging treatment.
⠀
📦 Would I Repurchase?
I think I would... if it was on sale. It’s a good gentle serum that looks cute, feels nice, and does a bit of everything without irritation. But if you’re looking for big results, this might feel a little too soft in action.
⠀
💬 Final Verdict
🔹 Beautiful packaging
🔹 Skin-calming formula
🔹 Safe for sensitive skin
🔹 Visible but subtle effects
🔹 Slight tackiness
If you're into layering serums and want something calming with decent actives, this could be your next go-to 💕 But if you’re expecting Botox-in-a-bottle effects, this might be too mild for you.

Let me know if anyone’s paired this with microneedling or LED masks — I have a feeling it could shine more that way 👩🔬✨
