When I started curating a proper skincare routine back then, the CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser was one of the first products I picked up. I went for the 355ml bottle to test it out, hoping it would suit my dry skin and honestly, it didn’t disappoint.
How I Use It
I used it twice a day like once in the morning as a standalone cleanser and again at night before applying my evening skincare. On makeup days, it served as my second cleanse following an oil-based cleanser; on bare-skin days, it was the only step I needed for cleansing.
Texture & Feel
The consistency is gel-like, almost lotion-y, which makes it feel incredibly gentle and soothing on the skin. There’s no lather or stripping sensation, just a clean, hydrated feel. For anyone with dry or sensitive skin, this texture is a win.
Longevity
The 355ml bottle lasted me about six months, and I already had the larger 562ml version stocked and ready. That one kept me going for over a year and four months. The bottle I’m currently using, my third was opened in mid-July, and it's still holding up well.
This has become my go-to cleanser. It’s reliably gentle, pairs perfectly with oil cleansers in a double cleanse routine, and keeps my skin feeling balanced and calm. If you’re looking for a no-fuss, effective cleanser for dry or sensitive skin, I can’t recommend this one enough.
