The most refreshing shampoo I’ve ever used

I wouldn’t say I’ve ever had serious hair loss — I actually have quite a lot of hair — but I’ve noticed that because my hair is really long, it tends to fall out more than I’d like. So I picked this up more as a preventative step than a treatment, and honestly? I’m really impressed.

This shampoo feels amazing on the scalp. It has a cooling sensation that kicks in just enough to feel refreshing without being overly minty or tingly. The lather is rich, foamy, and satisfying — it actually feels like it’s cleansing without being harsh or drying.

But can we talk about the scent? It’s subtle, slightly herbal, and smells expensive in the best way. Not overly perfumed, but fresh and clean — I find myself actually looking forward to hair wash days now, which I couldn’t say before.

I can’t claim it drastically changed the amount of hair I lose (again, I wasn’t at a point where that was easy to track), but it absolutely makes my scalp feel healthier, less itchy, and less oily by the next day. That alone is a win in my book.

Would I repurchase? 100% yes. For maintenance, for scalp care, and for how good it smells — it’s staying in my shower lineup.

    This shampoo sounds interesting.
    - I appreciate how this shampoo balances surfactants to achieve that rich lather without stripping.
    - What's more interesting is the pH - if it's truly scalp-friendly, it should sit between 4.5-5.5.
    * OP, does the brand disclose this?
    - Also, the 'herbal' scent profile suggests they're using essential oils rather than synthetic fragrances, which could explain why it doesn't trigger sensitivity.

I think cooling sensation = marketing gimmick. It's just menthol distracting you from the fact that this does nothing special for hair loss. I'll stick with my $7 drugstore shampoo that cleans just as well. Also, 'herbal scent' is code for 'will clash with your perfume.'

In my fav hair salon, they recommended shampoos like this. What they said to me was menthol boost increases blood circulation, which is great for scalp health long-term. The lather density tells me it's using milder sulfates instead of harsh SLS.
Little tip! Apply it with a scalp massager brush to double down on that refreshing feeling.
