MISSHA M Perfect Cover BB Cream: The OG That’s Still Got It?

A few months ago, I saw MISSHA M Perfect Cover BB Cream going viral again—like it does every couple of years. Every time, there’s a wave of people rediscovering it, swearing it’s a hidden gem or a throwback worth revisiting.

So, of course, I got curious. I mean, this BB cream has been around forever, and I wanted to see if it still holds up in 2025.

I’ll be real—when I first squeezed it out, I immediately remembered why some people love it and why some don’t. The coverage is solid, way more than what I expect from a BB cream. It’s giving foundation-level coverage but with that creamy, slightly dewy texture. If you’ve got redness or uneven skin tone, this could easily replace your foundation. But if you’re expecting a sheer, skin-like finish? This is not that.

Now, let’s talk about the undertones.

This is where things get tricky. I grabbed shade No. 23, which is supposed to be a neutral beige, but on my skin, it leans noticeably gray.

I had to warm it up with bronzer to make it look more natural. I know a lot of older K-beauty base products have this issue, but I was hoping they had reformulated by now. If you’re cool-toned, this might work better for you. If you’re warm-toned? You might need to mix or adjust it.

But here’s the thing—I actually get why this BB cream keeps making a comeback. The SPF 42, the long-lasting wear, and the hydrating feel make it a great everyday base for people who don’t want heavy foundation. Plus, for the price? Kind of hard to beat. I wouldn’t call it my holy grail, but I’m also not mad about having it in my collection.

Would I repurchase? Maybe if they improved the undertones. But if you can find a shade that works for you, I can see why this is still a classic.
