Description from the website
Lip balm that imparts a subtle fragrance at the tip of your nose. It provides immediate nourishment with rich plant-based oils, keeping dry lips moist and soft. The scent, made with safe ingredients, is packaged in a handy case resembling the smooth curves and texture of an egg, giving you a pleasant feeling anytime, anywhere.
I love eggs, so the adorable container instantly caught my eye. I also love milk tea and this balm actually smells like it! I can always use more lip balms, so when I spotted it at Incheon Airport, I picked one up.
Purchased for
USD 19 (duty-free at ICN Airport)
My lip condition
Generally okay, not very dry or cracked, so I don’t need balm every day. I mostly use lip balm to prep my lips before applying color or gloss.
Packaging & Application
- Design : The balm comes in a flat, egg-shaped tube that twists up for more product. It's housed in a sturdy, upscale box, great for gifting.
- Material : The container appears to be plastic but is textured to mimic a real eggshell. It has a soft, matte feel, almost like very fine sandpaper, no specific material details listed on the website.
- Ease of Use : Just remove the cap and apply directly. Twist the base to dispense more product.
- Portability : Super compact. The flat shape fits easily into even the slimmest bags.
- Durability : Feels well-made. Just be careful when putting the cap back on if you’re not aligned, the cap might nick the balm.
Ingredients & Formulation
- Key ingredients include: Castor seed oil, Sunflower seed wax and oil, Camellia Japonica seed oil, Apple seed oil, Candelilla wax, Various esters and emollients
- Manufactured by : Cosmax Co. Ltd.
- Texture : Smooth, oily, and thin upon application—an elegant, non-sticky formulation.
Scent & Flavor
-Notes : Top: bergamot and lemon, middle: black tea, base: coconut
- Tamburins describes it as the soft scent on the tip of your nose when you drink a glass of black tea with a drop of warm milk... Fresh and refreshing bergamot and lemon blend with the bittersweet feeling of black tea... Coconut adds a soft and sweet finish.
My take
It smells like real milk tea, subtle and comforting, like the faint scent lingering after a sip. The fragrance doesn’t linger long, which is great if you're sensitive to smells but still like a little treat. There’s also an unscented version available.
Performance & Effectiveness
- Immediate Hydration : More moisturizing than my current balms from Hersteller and Sampar Addict.
- Lasting Power : One application lasts about 3–4 hours without eating or drinking.
- Healing : Provides instant relief for chapped lips.
- Protection : I wore it on a 7-hour flight and my lips stayed soft and hydrated.
- Comfort : Creamy texture that wears comfortably. The scent fades gently over time.
Longevity & Value
I don’t use lip balm daily, just when needed.
At USD 19 for 5g, I wouldn’t call this cost-effective.

Would I Repurchase?
No, WNRP
Not because I didn’t like it, but because I already have the container and plan to refill it myself with a more affordable balm. It’s a lovely product, just not worth repurchasing at full price for me.
Overall Rating
4 out of 5
Would WRP if it were USD 9 instead of USD 19.
Shortly
A cute little egg-shaped lip balm that smells like milk tea and gives instant relief for dry lips. Great as a gift or souvenir, but pricey at USD 19 for 5g. Fun, but not a must-have.
