What's up grils! I wanted to share a roundup of all the skincare I’ve been using the past couple of months. I picked these up at the end of March so it’s been just over two months of consistent testing. Since I love writing quick reviews, I'm gonna show one item every day.
About Me
Skin type : Combo leaning dry
Skin concerns : Sensitivity, acne-prone, fine lines, hyperpigmentation, and large pores
Climate : Mildly humid spring weather, nothing too extreme
Quick note : All of these products are fragrance and essential oil free. If I mention a scent, I’m referring to the natural scent that sometimes comes with unscented formulas.
So, Today I'm gonna talk about Arencia Calendula Cleanser.
Rating : 3.5/5 Might Repurchase
I picked this up after deciding to stop using a salicylic acid cleanser as my skin needed a break and something much gentler. Out of Arencia’s lineup, the Calendula Cleanser looked like the most soothing option, so I gave it a go.
Overall, it’s a solid, no-frills cleanser. It lathers up nicely, feels gentle on the skin, and didn’t cause any irritation or dryness, which was exactly what I needed at the time. There are no active exfoliants, and it’s clearly designed to be calming and non-stripping. That said, it didn’t blow me away. It’s definitely functional, but nothing about it stood out as exceptional, especially considering the price. I probably wouldn’t repurchase, just because I think there are more affordable options that do the same job.
On the plus side, the tube lasted me a good 4–5 months since you only need a tiny amount each time, so it’s got some longevity.
Great if you're in need of a gentle reset cleanser, but maybe not a standout in the long run.
Here is my last day-shelf! Don't miss out!
