So I’m not one of those people who spends hours blending their makeup. I like looking nice, but I’m also lazy. Most mornings I slap on some sunscreen, a cushion compact, brow gel, and pray for the best.
Also I’ve never thought that much about the puff. Like… it’s just a sponge? It’s there. You use it. Whatever.
But last month I got picked for a review program through a Korean beauty site I use sometimes (shoutout Olive Young). They sent me the Picasso Glow Puff, and I was like, okay sure, I’ll try it. Didn’t expect much.
Spoiler: I kinda love it now?
⠀
My First Impression
It looks pretty normal. Maybe slightly thinner than the average cushion puff. It feels soft but not squishy. Like, it doesn’t bounce like a sponge, but it has this smooth, almost fabric-like finish.
I didn’t think it would make a difference but when I used it with my Espoir cushion, my base just… went on better. Smoother. No weird cakey patches around my nose. It actually made my foundation stick without looking thick.
Usually when I reapply during the day, it lifts product or pills. But this one just blended it back in. No crusty layer. No fingerprint lines. I was confused. In a good way.

The Part That Shocked Me
So the week after I first used it, I went back to my normal puff because I forgot to wash the Picasso one.
Immediately noticed a difference.
Like, why is this suddenly patchy? Why does my nose look dry? Why does the coverage disappear when I press again?
That’s when I realized the Picasso puff wasn’t just placebo. It actually works better.
⠀
A Few Things I Didn’t Expect
• It doesn’t absorb as much product, so I use less foundation overall
• It folds easily so I can press into the corners of my nose and inner eye area
• It doesn’t irritate my skin even when I’m having dry days
• It’s really easy to wash. I just use gentle soap and warm water, rinse, dry overnight. Done.
Also… I’ve used it to apply cream blush, and it worked surprisingly well. It kind of blurs everything? Like it gives this soft-focus look, which is wild for something that costs less than $5.
⠀
But There Are Downsides
It’s not sold in U.S. stores, so I had to wait about a week for shipping. Also, it’s small. If you’re into giant sponges, this might feel tiny at first. And it doesn’t come with a case or cover, which bugs me when I throw it in my makeup bag.
Still, I’d rather carry this around in a napkin than go back to my old puffs.

Final Thoughts From a Lazy Girl
If you’re the kind of person who just wants their makeup to look a little bit nicer with zero extra effort, this puff is weirdly worth it. I didn’t want to care. But now I do.
This isn’t some fancy influencer product. It’s just a smartly made little tool that happens to fix more than I thought it would.
I already ordered a 3-pack. I’m that person now.
So yeah. If your foundation looks weird lately? Try changing your puff. You might be surprised.
