Review: Rom&nd Dewyful Water Tint No.17 Mellow Sugar

This shade was a limited edition release and has since been discontinued, so I’ve been using it super sparingly. Honestly, I’m writing this review in the hopes that Rom&nd decides to bring it back!

While Rom&nd is best known for their Juicy Lasting Tints, I’ve personally never been a huge fan of those, the scent is a bit strong for me, and I’m not impressed with the staying power. The Dewyful Water Tint line, on the other hand, is my absolute favorite.

Shade💗

No.17 Mellow Sugar is a soft pink with just a touch of coral. It’s the kind of shade that works beautifully on anyone who looks good in pink tones. It has a natural, romantic feel and is perfect for daily wear.

Texture💦

True to the name, it has a watery texture that glides effortlessly across the lips. It feels lightweight and hydrating, almost like a lip serum. The finish is dewy and glossy without being sticky.

Staining power💫

The tint leaves behind a soft, even stain as it fades, which I love. It’s not transfer-proof, but it wears down in a flattering way and doesn’t leave that harsh, uneven edge some tints do.

Scent🌼

There is a light, sweet scent, somewhere between fruity and flora, but it’s very subtle. I usually don’t like scented lip products, but this one is barely noticeable once applied.

Swatches included below so you can get a feel for the color and finish!
