■ Skin Type
- Oily skin
- Sensitive and reactive to irritation
■ Why I Bought It
- I got this to help with slow aging and overall skin maintenance.
■ Reaction After 3 Weeks
- When I first started using it, I broke out, though I’m not sure if it was the product itself or just bad timing with my skin. But now, my skin seems to have adjusted, and I haven’t had any more breakouts. Other than that, I haven’t noticed any major reactions.
■ Actual Results
- It’s very hydrating, so I mainly use it in my nighttime routine.
- Since I have oily skin, I do get occasional breakouts, but over the past month, I’ve only had one, so my skin has been relatively stable.
■ Would I Recommend It?
- I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this for its functional benefits.
- The hydration is great, so I think it could work well for people with dry skin.
- There are so many good products on the market these days, and since there are plenty of alternatives, I don’t see myself repurchasing it.
- While the hydration aspect might appeal to people with oily skin, I personally can’t say for sure since my skin isn’t oily.
■ Other Thoughts
- The product is marketed for brightening and fading dark spots, and they claim its key ingredient for this is salmon PDRN. But the concentration is only 10,000 ppm, which, when converted, is just about 1% of the total formula. I don’t think that’s a high enough percentage to have a truly effective skin-regenerating impact.
