Tried the Anua Heartleaf 77 Soothing Toner after seeing it everywhere — influencers, Olive Young hauls, TikTok routines. It honestly felt like the toner to try this year. The branding is clean, the ingredients sounded promising (77% heartleaf? I mean, who wouldn’t be curious?), and I was genuinely excited to see what the hype was all about.
But… I don’t know. Maybe my expectations were just too high, but it didn’t do much for me.
Don’t get me wrong. It didn’t irritate my skin or cause any issues. It’s very gentle, lightweight, and absorbs well. But I was hoping for something more. Some noticeable soothing, brightening, anything. Instead, it just felt like a very average, no-frills toner.
If your skin is super sensitive and you’re looking for something basic to balance things out, this might be a solid option. But if you’re hoping for it to be a game-changer like the internet makes it seem… temper your expectations.
For me? It’s just one of those products that I’ll finish but probably won’t repurchase.
