What's up grils! I wanted to share a roundup of all the skincare I’ve been using the past couple of months. I picked these up at the end of March so it’s been just over two months of consistent testing. Since I love writing quick reviews, I'm gonna show one item every day.
About Me
Skin type : Combo leaning dry
Skin concerns : Sensitivity, acne-prone, fine lines, hyperpigmentation, and large pores
Climate : Mildly humid spring weather, nothing too extreme
Quick note : All of these products are fragrance and essential oil free. If I mention a scent, I’m referring to the natural scent that sometimes comes with unscented formulas.
So, Today I'm gonna talk about ILLIYOON Ceramide Ato Soothing Gel.
Rating : 4/5 May Repurchase
This gel is such a pleasant surprise unlike the Isntree gel cream, this one absorbs beautifully and feels so comfortable on the skin. While I don’t reach for it as a facial moisturizer and I tend to prefer thicker creams for my face, it’s become my go-to for hands and body.
It delivers instant hydration and leaves my skin feeling smooth and soft without any stickiness or greasiness, very similar in texture and feel to the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Body Cream. I mainly use it as a hand cream, and the only downside is the large size of the container, but that's easy to work around by decanting it into a smaller tub for on-the-go use.
I think it would be especially great for those with combo-oily skin, people with eczema, or anyone who washes their hands frequently. For me, the Neutrogena version is a bit more accessible and affordable, so I usually go with that, but if I see this on sale, I’d happily pick it up again.
Here is my last day-shelf! Don't miss out!
