We’re back with more sunscreen thoughts because apparently I’ve become that person, the one with a lineup of SPFs and opinions on all of them. These next three kept my dry skin happy under tropical humidity, and each had its own moment to shine (or not shine literally).
Let’s get into it :
5. Numbuzin Clear Filter Sun Essence ★★★★☆ (3.5/5)
Lightweight, soothing, and settles into a satiny-dewy finish that initially had me impressed. It blends in easily, doesn’t sting the eyes, and feels calming on the skin which I love.
BUT… it starts to pill if I touch my face too much throughout the day, and somehow ends up making me look a bit oilier than expected, even though it feels featherlight going on.
➡️ Would Repurchase, but probably only if it’s discounted.
6. Round Lab Birch Juice Moisturizing Sunscreen ★★★★☆ (4/5)
This is one of those “you really can’t go wrong” sunscreens. It has a creamy, lotion-like texture (lighter than Torriden's thickness), blends beautifully, and leaves a glowy, hydrated finish.
It takes a bit longer to dry down compared to some of the others, but it’s gentle, non-irritating, and great for daily use.
➡️ Would Repurchase for sure it's a reliable fave.
7. Goodal Calming Moisture Sun Cream ★★★★★ (5/5)
This one surprised me in the best way. It’s the only niacinamide-free formula out of the bunch, which is great if your skin gets finicky with actives. Super calming, hydrating, and has a light-as-air texture that reminds me a lot of Isntree’s sun gel, but even lighter.
Dewy finish, no eye sting, zero tackiness just a gentle, reliable SPF that feels amazing.
➡️ Would Repurchase in a heartbeat.
