Special Edition: Disgust’s Beauty Diary – Peripera Ink the Velvet Lip Tint - 17 Rosy Nude

You know what they say — never trust anything that promises to be “perfectly blurry.” Yet here I am, with the Peripera Ink the Velvet Lip Tint in 17 Rosy Nude, willingly setting myself up for disappointment.

And yes, some of you will notice that I’m writing two lip tints reviews in a row and yes, you are right, I bought a bunch from Oliveyoung, again.

First swipe?

I have to admit… this one shut me up real quick. It glides on like whipped cream and settles into this soft, blurry finish that makes you look like you woke up with effortlessly romantic lips. Grossly unfair, but here we are.

Color?

Rosy Nude is that “I swear this is my natural lip color” shade. Pinkish, muted, and just enough sophistication without making me look like I tried too hard. Basically, if you want people to think you’re classy but also approachable (ugh), this is it.

Texture?

It’s thick but airy somehow. Like, if a cloud and a mousse had a baby. It doesn’t cling to dry patches the way a water tint would, but if your lips are basically the Sahara, don’t expect a miracle. You need a decent balm underneath if you want the full flawless fantasy.

Longevity?

Decent. It’s not kiss-proof or burger-proof (let’s be real, nothing is), but it fades nicely without getting weird and crusty. Reapplication isn’t a nightmare either. It layers without turning into a flaky mess.

Final thoughts?

I hate that I like this. I’m offended that it actually delivered what it promised: a soft, blurred lip with minimal effort.

It’s cute, it’s reliable, and worst of all… it’s making me consider buying more colors.

Disgust is… reluctantly impressed.
