Okay, so I didn’t think I needed another cleansing foam in my life… and then the Anua Heartleaf Quercetinol Pore Deep Cleansing Foam walked in and casually became a staple 🤣
I grabbed this during a skincare restock because I’d been loving their toner (even though it didn’t change my life, lol), and this cleanser caught my eye mostly because of that “quercetinol” addition.
It sounded science-y and clean, and my skin was in one of those “everything is inflaming me” moods. So I needed something gentle that didn’t feel like washing with plain water, you know? 🤔
First impression 💭
Super rich and dense cream texture straight out of the tube. You only need the tiniest amount and it lathers into this smooth foam. Not bubbly or overly fluffy, just this satisfyingly creamy consistency that really hugs your skin. It’s the kind of foam that makes you think oh this is actually doing something.
Now, what surprised me most was how my skin felt after rinsing. I’ve tried other deep cleansers that left my face tight or borderline squeaky, but this one? None of that.
It rinses off super clean but leaves your face feeling calm, even bouncy. I didn’t expect a “pore deep cleanser” to feel this gentle, but I guess that’s the Heartleaf effect, soothing while still functional.
I’ve been using it on days when I wear sunscreen and feel like I need a little more than just a milk cleanser, and it’s been killing it in that category. After a couple of weeks, I noticed fewer congested patches around my nose and chin. Not a miracle worker, but definitely keeping things under control.
Also, no crazy fragrance. It smells like a fresh herbal tea, kind of grassy but light, and it doesn’t linger at all. Honestly, this would be a perfect intro cleanser for anyone trying to transition into more calming, skin-respecting routines—especially if you’re prone to over-cleansing like I used to be.
I love when a cleanser feels like it’s respecting my face. This one does just that. It’s now that product I instinctively reach for in the morning without thinking. You know a product’s working when it doesn’t try to do the most—but still somehow delivers.
💄💅 10/10 would recommend to my stressed skin twins out there. 💅💄
