I first saw the Whipped Mugtree Vegan Cookie Clay Pack Cleanser on Instagram and thought, “Oh that’s cute.” I wasn’t even planning to buy it at first — it looked like one of those gimmicky, TikTok-viral products you use once for the aesthetic and forget about. 

But I’m so glad I gave it a chance, because it turned out to be way more functional than I expected.

Let’s talk about the texture. This cleanser is seriously fun to use. When you first squeeze it out, it looks like a soft, whipped paste — creamy but thick, almost like chocolate cookie dough. 

And then it stretches. Like mochi. It has this elastic pull that makes applying it kind of addicting. It spreads easily across the skin, and once you start massaging it in with a bit of water, it transforms into a low, creamy foam. No big bubbles, just this soft whipped lather that hugs the skin.

I use it two ways:

• As a clay mask — 1–2 times a week, I apply a slightly thicker layer and let it sit for 5–10 minutes. It dries down just a bit (not uncomfortably tight) and rinses off really clean.

• As a daily cleanser — the rest of the time, I just use a small amount on damp skin, foam it up, and massage gently. It rinses off easily and doesn’t leave any residue or tightness.

What really impressed me is the cleansing power without the harshness. It didn’t make my blackheads magically disappear, but it absolutely helped with congestion over time. 

My skin felt smoother, and even around my nose — which usually gets flaky from stronger cleansers — there was no irritation.

Also? It’s vegan, non-stripping, and genuinely fun to use. I look forward to washing my face when this is in my routine, which is saying a lot.

The scent is subtle and warm — not overly sweet, not artificial. It kind of smells like oat milk and cookie crumbs, if that makes sense. It fades quickly, so even sensitive noses shouldn’t have a problem.

Packaging-wise, it’s adorable without being over-the-top. 

The tube is sturdy, hygienic, and easy to store. The branding is clean but playful, and it genuinely looks cute on a bathroom shelf.All in all, I feel like this is one of those rare cases where a “gimmicky-looking” product turns out to be a functional favorite. I’ve recommended it to friends who usually hate clay masks because it’s just so much gentler, and I’ll definitely repurchase.
