I mean... it’s okay?? I guess?? DIVE IN Serum review I think??

So I bought this hyaluronic acid serum from Torriden (called Dive In something?) because everyone was talking about how it changed their skin?? I saw like five TikToks and also a blog or maybe Reddit?? Anyway, I was influenced. Obviously.

I put it on after toner. Or wait—do you put it before toner? Or was it essence first and then serum? Idk. I just followed some YouTube video but then forgot the order halfway through so whatever.

It felt wet. Like... water? But thicker. Not like snail mucin but also not like The Ordinary HA serum that pills up. So that was nice I guess. No smell, which is good, because I hate lavender in skincare. Or was that rosemary?

After like... a few days? My skin looked sort of glowy? Or maybe it was just the lighting in my bathroom. It’s hard to tell because I also switched cleansers that week. So... yeah.

Also I thought this was gonna be super hydrating?? But my cheeks still felt dry after maybe 3–4 hours. Or maybe that’s just my skin barrier. I don’t know. Skincare is confusing.

💧 Things that might matter??

It's blue (the bottle not the serum).

Absorbs fast, no stickiness.

My friend said she likes it too but her skin is oily and mine is dry so idk.

Maybe I’m supposed to use more layers? Is that a thing with HA?

It didn’t break me out, so that’s cool.

I’m not sure if I’ll repurchase. It wasn’t bad but I didn’t have that dramatic “omg my skin is plump like a mochi” moment. Also I think I was expecting too much?? Maybe I need to pair it with something else. Or maybe HA just isn’t for me??

Final thoughts:
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Maybe good. Maybe not.
Still using it because I paid for it.

Anyway, if someone knows a better one for dry skin, let me know. Or don’t. I’ll probably just buy whatever’s on sale next.

Thanks for reading... if anyone is. 😬

Wait I thought I was the only one who didn’t get the HA hype?? It’s like wet and fine but not life-changing.

I’m still using it too just because I paid for it lol. It’s not bad but I never notice when I skip it.

I layer it under a cream and mist and that’s when it finally worked for me! Try the “moisture sandwich” trick 👀

Haha it’s just toner/essence → serum → cream → mist! Locks in hydration better 💧

@Influencer Same! But once I started layering thin stuff first it made a big difference.

Do you let each layer dry or just go in quickly?

@Influencer I do it while everything’s still a bit damp...helps trap the moisture in.
