TOUCH IN SOL No Pore Blem Primer – First Primer Ever?

I’d been on the hunt for a good primer, and after scrolling through Amazon, Oliveyoung, Yesstyle, I kept seeing the TOUCH IN SOL No Pore Blem Primer pop up with thousands of reviews. Naturally, I got curious and decided to give it a shot. I had never used primer before, so I don't think I will be able to compare with other primers, but here's my thoughts and experiences!

So as the weather got warmer, I noticed my pores being more visible, my makeup not being able to last as long as it used to be, which led me thinking the whole day if my blackheads and pores are ruining my whole look. And I got other things to worry about. 😅 So that's how I got to try this primer, and what I expected from it was making my skin looks less textured (especially T-zone), my pores and blackheads less visible, and making my makeup lasts longer.

The first thing I noticed was the silky, lightweight texture. It has that smooth, velvety feel that glides effortlessly on the skin. It’s not too thick or greasy, and it settles into the skin beautifully without feeling heavy. I was surprised with this part because the reason why I 'avoided' using primer was the stuffed feeling with it. But no! It didn't feel heavy or stuffed at all. Also, it was pretty easy to put thin layer on my skin, which was helpful for a 'primer beginner' like me. Also, it got 3 years until it's expired so no need to worry about primer for the next 3 years lol.

After applying foundation over it, I did see the difference—it blurs pores just enough to create a smoother base. Not really worked with my fine lines tho. But it did help whatever I use after it looks way more smooth & clean. It also helps makeup last longer without making my skin feel dry or cakey. I have combo skin, and it worked well for me without emphasizing dry patches or making my T-zone too oily.

Final Thoughts

I can see why this primer has such a strong following. It’s easy to apply, makes a difference in how my makeup looks, and feels great on the skin (and yes the scent of it is also great) If you’re looking for a solid, everyday primer, this one is definitely worth trying. I might experiment with other primers in the future, but now, I’m happy with this one!
