Ugh, so I bought the ISOI Blemish Care Up Serum because Global Olive Young was having this big event, and I got totally sucked into the hype. Everyone online was like, “Oh my gosh, it’s amazing for brightening and fading acne scars,” and I thought, okay, maybe this will finally be the one that fixes my skin. Spoiler: It’s not. 😒
First of all, let’s talk about that smell. It’s supposed to be “natural” or whatever because it has Bulgarian rose oil, but honestly? It’s way too strong. Like, every time I put it on, I felt like I was walking through the perfume section of a department store. Why does skincare need to smell this intense? My face isn’t a bouquet.
And then there’s the actual results—or lack thereof. I used this religiously for a few weeks because I wanted to give it a fair shot, but literally nothing happened. My acne scars are still there, my skin doesn’t look any brighter, and honestly, I feel like my drugstore moisturizer does more for me than this serum did. It didn’t break me out or anything (so I guess that’s a win?), but for the price, I expected something. Anything!
Oh, and speaking of price—this stuff is expensive. Even with the Olive Young discount, it felt like a lot for such a tiny bottle. And now I’m just annoyed because I could’ve spent that money on something fun like snacks or cute earrings instead of this meh serum.
So yeah, I don’t get the hype at all. Maybe it works for other people, but for me? Total waste of money. If you’re thinking about buying it, maybe wait until they send out free samples or something because I wouldn’t risk paying full price for this again. Lesson learned! 🙃
