Okay, listen. I really wanted to love this. I mean, everyone on TikTok is raving about it. "Centella! Green toner pads!" How could it not be perfect, right? Spoiler alert: Itās not. š¬
First Impressions: Cute, but... Whatās the Hype?
When I first opened the package, I was super impressed by how cute and trendy everything looked. I mean, itās Instagram gold. The packaging is adorable, and the pads are soaked in what I hoped would be magic. But thatās where the excitement kind of stopped. š
Ingredients & Claims: Is This Really ""Healing""?
The whole point of these pads is to be calming and soothing, right? I read about the Centella Asiatica (which I know is supposed to help with redness and irritation) and thought, āPerfect, my skin will be glowy and calm!ā But honestly, I didnāt feel like my skin was really āhealedā or anything. If anything, my skin felt a little... meh after using them. The green tea extract is nice, but other than that, Iām not seeing what all the fuss is about.
Texture & Feel: Like Wet Paper?
Now, donāt get me wrong. The pads are soaked, but maybe too soaked? It feels like I'm rubbing my face with a wet paper towel. I was expecting something a little more refreshing, not something that leaves my skin feeling⦠damp and sticky. Maybe my skinās just too picky, but I wasnāt vibing with the texture at all.
Performance & Results: No Miracle Here
Hereās the thing: After using these for a week, I didnāt see any major improvement. No glow. No calming of redness. Just my skin, doing its normal thing, like I hadnāt even used them. Honestly, I was a little disappointed. I was hoping these would be a game-changer for my sensitive skin, but nope. Theyāre okay, I guess, but nothing special.
ā Good for the 'Gram ā The packaging is so cute, and it makes for a great aesthetic for your shelf. Iām not gonna lie, it looks great in photos.
ā No Dramatic Results ā If youāre looking for something thatāll actually calm your redness or give you that glow, donāt hold your breath.
Would I Repurchase?
I wouldnāt buy this again. Maybe itās just not for my skin, but it didnāt really live up to the hype for me. I know a lot of people swear by this, but for me? It was just another overhyped product with a pretty face.
Meh, not for me.
