🫧 Skin Type: Oily
🌬️ Climate: Dry
🧴 Routine: Laneige cream skin → Wellage ampoule → Snature squalne cream
💬 Final Feelings
Even though this toner is usually a go-to for dry skin types, I was kinda shocked at how well it worked for me too.
I’ve got oily skin, and I’m currently in a slightly dry climate, but it still felt just right.
It’s supposed to work as both a toner and a moisturizer, and honestly? I think it lives up to the hype.
I’ve been skipping my usual cream, and my skin hasn’t complained at all. My routine feels way simpler now and I’m loving it.
One thing though, it does leave a slightly tacky finish.
It’s not oily or heavy, but you can definitely feel a bit of stickiness for a while after applying.
If texture really bugs you, that’s something to note.
Still, it’s super easy to use and does the job beautifully.
If you’re after something hydrating but low effort, I’d totally recommend giving this one a shot 💦
🔹 AM:
No cleanser (just water rinse)
Cream Skin (2 layers with hands, pressed in slowly)
A pump of Beauty of Joseon Glow Serum
Mixsoon Bean Essence (tiny bit only where texture gets weird)
Round Lab Birch Juice Moisturizing Sunscreen
🔹 PM:
Oil cleanser → gel cleanser
1st layer: Cotton pad sweep with Cream Skin
2nd layer: hands, pat-pat-pat
A’pieu Madecassoside Cream or Etude SoonJung Barrier Intensive
Laneige Cream Skin Mist (I keep it in the fridge 😌)
This combo has literally SAVED my skin when I travel to high-altitude places or during airplane rides. The tackiness is real, but it actually helps my next layers stay on better—like a primer, almost. For anyone with a weakened barrier but oily tendencies like me: don’t skip this one!
But then I ran out of moisturizer on a trip and this was the only thing in my pouch. Used 3 layers, went to sleep thinking “oh no I’m gonna wake up crusty,” and NOPE. My face felt like mochi in the morning.
