Laneige Cream Skin — One Girl’s Review Corner 🛁🌸

🫧 Skin Type: Oily

🌬️ Climate: Dry

🧴 Routine: Laneige cream skin → Wellage ampoule → Snature squalne cream

💬 Final Feelings

Even though this toner is usually a go-to for dry skin types, I was kinda shocked at how well it worked for me too.

I’ve got oily skin, and I’m currently in a slightly dry climate, but it still felt just right.

It’s supposed to work as both a toner and a moisturizer, and honestly? I think it lives up to the hype.

I’ve been skipping my usual cream, and my skin hasn’t complained at all. My routine feels way simpler now and I’m loving it.

One thing though, it does leave a slightly tacky finish.

It’s not oily or heavy, but you can definitely feel a bit of stickiness for a while after applying.

If texture really bugs you, that’s something to note.

Still, it’s super easy to use and does the job beautifully.

If you’re after something hydrating but low effort, I’d totally recommend giving this one a shot 💦

I get you 😩 I used to feel like that way too and I started patting it in with super light layers and giving it time to dry between steps, and that made a huge difference! Now it’s a staple when my barrier’s mad at me lol.

Ohh yeah if it felt sticky all day, maybe try using it as a first toner with a more matte finish gel moisturizer on top? I’ve been doing Cream Skin + Innisfree Green Tea Emulsion lately and it tones down the tackiness a lot. Also helps balance oily zones better 🙌

I didn’t expect this to work for my oily skin either, but it ended up balancing things out really well. It’s great for simplifying your routine if you don’t mind a bit of tackiness.

For real. I’ve been skipping my cream most days and it still holds up. Never thought I’d say that.

Okay but am I the only one who hates the texture? That sticky feel makes me wanna rinse my face again.

I mean yeah it’s sticky at first, but it dries down fine if you give it a few. Not a dealbreaker for me.

Nah, I don’t wanna wait around like I’m air-drying laundry. If it doesn’t feel good, I’m out.

You sound kinda impatient tbh. Not everything’s gonna feel like cloud mist or whatever. Some of us like effective.

And some of us like not walking around feeling like a glazed donut. It’s skincare, not glue. Chill.

Lmao okay keep crying about your dewy skin problems. Maybe try a powder next time. Or therapy.

Girl did you just suggest therapy over toner? You good?? This why y’all can’t have opinions online without somebody going full crazy.

My holy grail Laneige Cream Skin routine:
    🔹 AM:

    No cleanser (just water rinse)

Cream Skin (2 layers with hands, pressed in slowly)

A pump of Beauty of Joseon Glow Serum

Mixsoon Bean Essence (tiny bit only where texture gets weird)

Round Lab Birch Juice Moisturizing Sunscreen

    🔹 PM:

    Oil cleanser → gel cleanser

1st layer: Cotton pad sweep with Cream Skin

    2nd layer: hands, pat-pat-pat

A’pieu Madecassoside Cream or Etude SoonJung Barrier Intensive

Laneige Cream Skin Mist (I keep it in the fridge 😌)

This combo has literally SAVED my skin when I travel to high-altitude places or during airplane rides. The tackiness is real, but it actually helps my next layers stay on better—like a primer, almost. For anyone with a weakened barrier but oily tendencies like me: don’t skip this one!

Y’all... why did I think this was just fancy water for the longest time 😭
But then I ran out of moisturizer on a trip and this was the only thing in my pouch. Used 3 layers, went to sleep thinking “oh no I’m gonna wake up crusty,” and NOPE. My face felt like mochi in the morning.
