Disgust’s Skincare Diary Day 5 – Mochi toner? More like… mochi confused.

I don’t usually fall for anything with a cute name.

“Mochi”? Please. I’m not five.

But everyone kept saying this toner is the one for dry, tired skin. So fine. I gave in.

Let’s get this out of the way:

It’s thick. Like, not water, not cream, but something in the awkward in-between.

The kind of texture that makes you question reality a little.

At first I thought I hated it. Too much, too slow to absorb, too… goopy.

But then my skin stopped flaking off like a pastry in winter.

And I woke up one morning and realized:

I was soft. I was bouncy. I was… mochi-fied.

The bottle is huge, like borderline absurd.

I could probably bathe in it and still have some left.

And that plain, clinical packaging?

It weirdly comforts me. Like it might actually know what it’s doing.

I don’t want to love it.

But I do.

So now I’m emotionally attached to a $18 bottle of ceramide soup.

Rating: 4.6 out of 5 grumbles.

Disgust, reluctantly moisturized.

**Also, don’t buy it on amazon cuz they are way more expensive than oliveyoung

Used this last winter and my skin legit flaked off. Mochi? More like stale rice cracker.

I actually loved this toner too! I can always trust tonymoly for daily products. They might not be the most fanciest brand, but they worth the trust and hype for sure!!

AGREE! They don't go crazy with ads and stuff, but they come up with actual products that everyone can use & enjoy. And that's how they get more people drawn to the brand!

I know! I don't understand why people don't like them either. Their product isn't fancy or magical, but sometimes that's what our skin needs and wants!

I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS ONE!! I honestly don't care if anyone fights me back with this, but I love this with my whole heart. It literally makes my skin like mochi, and $15 for that huge thing?? Why would I even try to find other toner? I mean I might try to add up some serums and stuff for extra hydration if needed but other than that, I'm sticking with this for the rest of my life (I know I'm being dramatic)

🤣🤣🤣 I get that tho!! And I got it on oliveyoung (online) and they gave me 100ml toner & ceramide cream 30ml! Literally the best deal plus I don't even have to worry about travel size. I ordered a huge bulk toner and they gave me travel skincare 🤗

I would say it might not be the best toner in the world, but compared to the price of it?? Yes I would say it's the best toner. If you are broke like me and looking for a great toner, this is it.

YES. And some people say it's good only for certain season, but I personally like to use it all year round. During summer, I like to use this without extra seurm or ampoule, and during the winter, I just add up a serum or so for the extra hydration. But other than that, it works just fine for me

I feel like tonymoly products are gentle in general, so easy to use. This one was also super moisturizing and gentle too!

@Influencer AND CHEAP!!! I feel like they focus on the basics and I love that. I don't see them very often on instgram or tiktok, which means they don't spend $$$ trying to reach people but they eventually got pretty big (compared to what they did to reach people) because of how the product is

It's a toner for life fr. It feels like a mix of skin and essence, which absorbed better for the skin. And because of the texture, I feel like it stays longer than regular watery toners
